The fashion exhibition was exciting, with designers showcasing their latest collections for the upcoming season, with beautiful and elegant, edgy and artistic designs taking the stage. Many took inspiration from heritage, incorporating traditional patterns into modern pieces.
On the runway, designers such as Hazree Wahid, Joyce Wong, Fairuz Ramdan and many showcased their collection to the audience.

The designs are from Hazree Wahid’s collection, beautiful elegant designs with flare.

Ronal Alzate from the Philippines plays with textures and animal prints. Textile creativity give these designs an edge.

Joyce Wong incorporates prints, embellishments and embroidered lace in her designs. She also had an interesting play on the cutting.

Fairuz Ramdan launches his first women’s collection. Playing with colours and mixing traditional with modern, urban designs.

Vietnamese designer Phong My's collection takes on classical elegance with colour blocking.
The exhibition also hosted many other names, amongst those is Mercedes-Benz Stylo Designer of the year 2012 designer Bill Keith. Inspired by the local culture, particularly the Peranakan culture, he incorporates traditional peranakan designs into modern garments. Using a pastel colour scheme on Resort-Wear themed designs, Bill Keith gives old school charm a modern touch. Also incorporating elements such as the puny flower, making it perfect for seasons such as Chinese New Year.

Fashion house Coccha brings Bohemian styling to the fashion scene. From sweet & edgy to grunge & chic, Coccha brings a different flavor to the crowd.

New comer Man Chien offers a fresh perspective on design. With a background in Art, her designs incorporate her artistic talents by directly painting onto the garments. Here her pieces are inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

We also met up with designer Nellisa Hilman. Displaying her collection of sexy and bold footwear, from leopard print flats to heel in camouflage.

There was a beautiful exhibition displaying creations by various designers and Mercedes-Benz STYLO Emerging Designers, The Youth of Malaysia. Some were inspiring while others intriguing and thought provoking.
