WIMBLEDON 2015 SPECIAL: ALL WHITE ERRTHANG

Wimbledon’s tennis finals are this weekend, did your favourite make it to the end? We’ve been keeping an eye on the results, and thought we’re not the biggest sports fans out there hey, we’re trying.

Running around chasing tennis balls may not be our strong suit but we wouldn’t mind being forced to wear all-white ensembles during the duration of the competition. As tradition, this prestigious tournament requires all their players to wear all-white. Not too shabby for a uniform, no?

L to R: Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic, Serena Williams

There’s something about an all-white outfit that gives the overall look a bit of a boost. Being covered from head to toe in ivory looks fresh, crisp and a hint of sophisticated elegance. (No surprise the Brits picked this shade.)

As much as we love this classy colour, we’ll be the first to tell you that white is a tricky shade to pull off. It has the tendency to make you look slightly heavier so go easy on the textures and other heavy materials.

Rule of thumb: When it comes to white, never buy an ill-fitting garment. It’s just going make you look frumpy and two sizes bigger so opt for clean lines and go for sleek slihouettes.
